  2. I recently received the March issue of Inc. magazine. In it, there were many examples of engaging the audience with a story. I enjoyed reading Jason Fried’s article entitled “How to Get Good at Making Money.”

    Of course, I was drawn to his article on the title alone; however, I was immediately hooked by his story about learning to play drums. Not because I want to play drums, but because it was a story about learning something new and I was able to relate.

  3. I feel like I should be holding a sign or something. Maybe a couple. One could say Welcome. Another: We’re Glad You’re Here. Yet another might have Hooray or Let’s Celebrate. Now that I think about it, I’m going to need a lot more hands to do a proper job of hosting this grand opening of our new site.

    That’s because I’ll also need a sign that says The Best Is Yet to Come. And if I give in to some of our more exuberant Maesteroites, there’s sure to be one that says just Awesome! I could also see a Just Watch Us Now sign.

    But my conscientious self would probably win out with a more reassuring placard. Something like Taking Care of Business. Because, in spite of all the excitement, that’s always job one.
