Bill Truesdell, instructional designer for Maestro, arrived here after successful careers in education and advertising. But he would be the first to tell you he’s a writer first and an ad man second. An ad man, Bill believes, makes ads. But a writer makes whatever is necessary.

Bill grew up in central lower Michigan, moved to Kalamazoo to attend Western Michigan University and never left. Two degrees and years later, he’s still here—along with his patient wife Bobbi and two exuberant daughters, Kate and Annie. (Actually, Kate is now married and living in Chicago.) With the help of his entire family, Bill fulfilled his life’s dream by restoring an 1884 Victorian Italianate home.
