David Cook
Programmer
It seems natural coming from someone who, in his spare time, uses photography to create things of beauty. After all, he uses software development skills to do the same thing every day at the office.
As a Maestro developer, David Cook does what he loves—provides people with a way of freely sharing knowledge with others. After attending BYU but before arriving here, David worked as the lead developer for a local firm. Before that he was a system analyst for ExxonMobil . . . “and assisted in moving my job offshore.”
A strong family man, David is husband to Sarah and father to five children. Whatever time his family and first hobby (photography) leave him, David devotes to his second hobby—woodworking. He came from a big family with eight siblings and today has 46 nieces and nephews. With all those potential recruits, it’s no surprise that he once coached two soccer teams even though he never played the game.
