In fact, absenteeism costs related to preventable illness are higher than medical expenses, comprising up to 60% of health care costs. Purpose
The objective of Wellness Works was to provide a way for employers to arm their employees in the fight against ever-increasing health care costs. It posed a simple question: What if employees were equipped with the means to understand health and wellness better and the facts to make informed choices about their lifestyle and health?
Action
Maestro elearning combined the energies and expertise of a well-rounded team of experts to create Wellness Works, a series on highly engaging learning modules to inspire learners to make healthier choices. The core program, Interactive Wellness™, is an exclusive online education program that teaches the principles of nutrition, exercise, stress relief and more.
Easy to use, Interactive Wellness™ fosters employees’ accountability and personal ownership for their own health and well being. Specialized programs and services build on the knowledge gained through Interactive Wellness. These are delivered through a variety of online, in-person and group courses, programs and products. Each is designed to create a corporate culture of wellness. The Interactive Wellness program is delivered through a system that is able to track and measure performance. Reports can quickly be generated that display learner progress in the program, scores on individual assessments, course enrollment, program utilization and more.

- Wellness Works would be recommended to a co-worker by 93% of the participants
